Dr. Hamed Kamelnia is a distinguished Iranian architect and academic. He earned his Ph.D. in Architecture with highest distinction from the University of Tehran and his . He is currently a full professor at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.He has served as Dean of the Faculty of Architecture , Advisor to the President of Ferdowsi University , and scientific representative in international collaborations with leading European universities.His academic achievements include being recognized as National Distinguished Researcher of Iran and Top Researcher of Khorasan Razavi Province, authoring 6 academic books,more than 120 articles , managing many national research projects, and supervising over 60 master’s and Ph.D. theses.Dr. Kamelnia has received and been nominated for several prestigious international architecture awards, including the C-IDEA Design Award , TraMod Awards , and Kioskedia Awards . His expertise focuses on contemporary architecture, sustainable design, and the dialogue between tradition and modernity, making him an influential figure in contemporary Iranian architecture.
